UGC Net Syllabus 2014: The Various Subjects www.ugcnetonline.in

The UGC net syllabus for the current year of 2014 is extensive. The subjects that are a part of the syllabus are economics, political science, philosophy, sociology, education, strategic studies, home science, psychology, history, public administration, management, music, anthropology, defense, commerce, education, social work, population studies etc. the subjects that have been mentioned above are some the subjects of the general category that form a part of the syllabus. There are a number of other subjects that have been included in the current year’s syllabus. There are subjects like, German, Japanese, Rajasthani, Russian, Persian, Spanish, Marathi, French, Gujarati, Manipuri, Assamese, dogri, Nepali, linguistics, Chinese, and English. UGC net syllabus also includes physical education, andragogy, adult education, Islamic studies and Indian culture.

Then there are other subjects like law, library, information science, human resource management, labor welfare, industrial relations, personnel management, labor management and many more. The syllabus included subjects like Buddhism, Jainism, Gandhian studies and other religious subjects as well. Journalism and mass communication forms a part of the syllabus and so does subjects of performing arts like theatre, dance and drama. The syllabus has archeology, criminology and museology included in it. UGC net syllabus has subjects like comparative literature, language, folk literature and traditional subjects like jyotisha, navya vyakarana, Sankhya yoga along with other subjects like graphics, woman studies, sculpture, painting and drawing, applied art and history of art.

There is forensic science, geography, electronic science, computer application, computer science, tourism administration and management, environmental science, human rights, social medicine and health, international studies, general science, philosophy, literature/ language and many more. There is a huge variety of subjects that a candidate can select from so that he or she can make the best combination for himself or herself in order to score well in the examinations of UGC Net.
