The UGC net syllabus for the current year of 2013 is extensive. The subjects that are a part of the syllabus are economics, political science, philosophy, sociology, education, strategic studies, home science, psychology, history, public administration, management, music, anthropology, defense, commerce, education, social work, population studies etc. the subjects that have been mentioned above are some the subjects of the general category that form a part of the syllabus.
