- The students of the general status will have to pay a sum of Rs. 600 as a fee for the test.
- The candidates of the backward classes or the OBC candidates will have to pay a sum of Rs. 300 as their fee for the test. They are regarded as the non-creamy layer.
- The test fees for the candidates of the VH/PH/ST/SC status have been reduced to Rs 150.

There is an instructed procedure for making payments for the CBSE net 2015 fees. A form of challan of bank has to be filled by the applicant in triplicate. These are the copies of the bank, the copies of the UGC and the copy of the applicant. The applicant will have to produce these three copies to any branch of SBI along with the charges of the bank that would be twenty rupees. A copy will be kept by the bank and the rest of the two copies would be given back. Then, the copy of the UGC should be produced along with the application form and given to the centre of CBSE NET.
